Your Privacy Choices

JP Windsor respects your right to control how your personal information is used. This page describes the privacy choices available to you, including your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and your right to limit the use of sensitive personal data.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

JP Windsor does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary compensation. However, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state laws, certain disclosures of personal information to third parties — including analytics providers and advertising platforms — may be characterized as "sharing" for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out of this sharing.

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, click the button below or contact us directly at info@jpwindsor.us with the subject line "Opt Out of Sale/Sharing."

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Once we receive your opt-out request, we will process it within 15 business days and confirm completion. Your opt-out preference will be stored for a minimum of 12 months. We will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

Certain categories of personal information are considered "sensitive" under applicable privacy laws, including Social Security numbers, financial account information, precise geolocation data, and information about health conditions. To the extent we collect sensitive personal information in the course of providing our capital advisory services, we use it only for the purposes necessary to perform those services — specifically, to verify your identity, assess your deal, and fulfill applicable regulatory requirements.

You have the right to direct us to limit the use of your sensitive personal information to these permissible purposes. If you believe we are using sensitive personal information for purposes beyond what is necessary for the service you have requested, contact us at info@jpwindsor.us with the subject line "Limit Sensitive Data Use."

California CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA and CPRA in addition to the opt-out rights described above:

Right to Know

You may request that we disclose what personal information we have collected about you over the past 12 months, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business or commercial purposes for which it was collected, and the categories of third parties with whom we shared it.

Right to Delete

You may request deletion of personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions required by law — including information we must retain to complete a transaction you requested, to comply with legal obligations, or to detect and prevent fraud.

Right to Correct

You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. Upon receiving a verifiable request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the information and will direct relevant service providers to make the same corrections.

Right to Data Portability

You may request a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in a portable, readily usable format that allows you to transmit the information to another entity without impediment.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised any of your CCPA rights. Exercising your privacy rights will not affect your ability to submit a deal or work with JP Windsor.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a privacy rights request, use one of the following methods:

  • Email: info@jpwindsor.us — include the type of request in the subject line
  • Authorized Agent: An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us before processing the request.

We will verify your identity before processing any request. Verification requirements vary by request type. For most requests, we will ask you to provide information that matches the information we have on file for you. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days; if we need additional time, we will notify you.

Marketing Communications

If you receive marketing emails from JP Windsor and wish to opt out of future marketing communications, you may click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us at info@jpwindsor.us. Note that opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional or service communications related to an active financing engagement.

For privacy inquiries or to exercise any right described on this page, contact us at info@jpwindsor.us. We respond to all privacy requests within 45 days as required by law.
