Accessibility Statement
JP Windsor is committed to ensuring that our website and client portal are accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. This statement describes our current status, the features we have implemented, known limitations, and how to contact us with accessibility concerns.
Our Commitment
Accessibility is not a compliance checkbox for JP Windsor. The commercial real estate capital markets are complex, and every borrower and sponsor deserves equal access to the tools and information they need to finance their projects effectively. We believe that an accessible platform is a better platform — for all users, regardless of ability.
We are actively investing in accessibility improvements as part of our ongoing platform development. Our target is full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across all public-facing pages and the client portal. We conduct periodic accessibility reviews and prioritize remediation of identified issues based on impact to users.
Conformance Status
The JP Windsor website and client portal are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address known gaps, which are listed under Known Limitations below.
This statement was last reviewed in January 2026. We commit to reviewing and updating this statement whenever significant changes are made to the Site or Platform.
Accessibility Features Implemented
The following accessibility features have been implemented across the JP Windsor website and client portal:
Semantic HTML Structure
All pages use proper HTML5 semantic elements — including landmarks such as <nav>, <main>, <footer>, and <aside> — to provide a meaningful document structure for screen reader users and assistive technologies.
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements — including navigation links, form fields, buttons, and modal dialogs — are accessible via keyboard. Focus order follows a logical reading sequence and focus indicators are visible. Users can navigate the full site using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and arrow keys.
Screen Reader Support
Pages have been tested with NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers. All form inputs have associated labels. Error messages are programmatically associated with the relevant field. Status updates use ARIA live regions to communicate changes to screen reader users without requiring a page reload.
Color Contrast
Text and interactive element colors have been selected to meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. We do not rely on color alone to convey information.
Responsive Design
All pages are fully responsive and accessible across devices and screen sizes. Content reflows correctly at 320px width and up to 400% zoom without loss of information or functionality. Text can be resized using browser controls without breaking the layout.
Alternative Text for Images
All informative images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes (alt="") to be skipped by screen readers. Charts and data visualizations in the client portal include textual descriptions or data tables as alternatives.
Link and Button Labels
All links and buttons have descriptive, context-appropriate text labels. Generic text such as "click here" or "read more" is not used without additional context. Icon-only buttons include visually hidden text labels for screen reader users.
Form Accessibility
All form fields in the intake form and client portal include visible labels, placeholder text does not replace labels, required fields are clearly indicated, and validation errors are described in text — not only by color or icon.
Known Limitations and Remediation Plan
Despite our efforts, some areas of the Site and Platform do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We document known limitations transparently and commit to timelines for remediation:
PDF Documents
Some documents available for download in the client portal — including deal summaries and lender term sheets generated from third-party systems — are not fully accessible to screen reader users. We are implementing a PDF remediation workflow that will apply accessibility tags to all generated documents. Target completion: Q2 2026.
Data Tables in the Client Portal
Complex data tables in the pipeline management view currently lack programmatic row and column header associations in some configurations. This affects screen reader users navigating tabular deal data. We are rebuilding affected table components to use proper ARIA table roles and header associations. Target completion: Q2 2026.
Third-Party Embedded Content
Certain third-party embedded elements — including our document signing integration — may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are evaluating alternative solutions with stronger native accessibility support. In the interim, users who encounter accessibility barriers with third-party components may contact us to request an accessible alternative workflow.
Complex Interactive Charts
Interactive data visualization components in lender analytics views do not yet include full keyboard navigation support or textual data equivalents. Static data tables are available as alternatives for all charts. Full keyboard-accessible chart navigation is targeted for Q3 2026.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
The JP Windsor website and client portal are designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers: NVDA with Firefox, JAWS with Chrome, VoiceOver with Safari (macOS and iOS), TalkBack with Chrome (Android)
- Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS/iOS)
- Keyboard-only navigation: All standard keyboard layouts
- Browser zoom: Up to 400% in all major browsers without loss of content or functionality
